About the Event
For Immediate Release:
Musicians Pro Academy brings Music Industry professionals to NWA for Master Classes.
Shaun Bayles is no stranger to the music business after leaving his hometown of Springdale AR to move to Nashville almost 20 years ago. He recently returned to NWA after performing as a published songwriter, music supervisor, producer and guitarist to Grammy Award winning artists such as Little Texas and Michelle Wright and American Idol’s Bucky Covington and many others in his Nashville tenure.
Through his personal network of friends and colleagues, he will be bringing professional musicians, songwriters, music business industry leaders and many others through his Musicians Pro Academy in Johnson AR to share their experiences, give real world advice and also demonstrate performance and studio techniques professional players rely on.
The debut installment of these Master Classes will take place on August 15, 2019 at 5:30 pm at Musicians Pro Academy in Johnson AR featuring Ludwig Drum Artist and Nashville Pro drummer Billy Freeman. Billy performs with Dustin Lynch currently and has also performed with countless other Major Label Country Artists such as Kacey Musgraves and Neal McCoy. “Billy has been a good friend of mine for many years after I subbed performing with Dustin Lynch while their guitarist was off for the birth of his first child. We have been friends ever since and Billy was one of the first people I thought of when wanting to start bringing in these classes to NWA. He is a great guy and has a very grounded approach to his drumming and professionalism that I know will impact those in attendance on the 15th!” said MPA owner Shaun Bayles of the upcoming event. “I want to help my hometown and do as much as I can to bring great quality instruction to the area and teach how professionals think about playing music in order to empower the musicians of NWA with resources that they wouldn’t normally have access.” Registration can be done online or call 479-935-3711.
Admission is free and space is limited so it’s best to reserve your spot early!
